BJ Hickman Magician

BJ Hickman is a full-time professional magician who produces and performs audience participation magic shows for associations, corporations, child-care facilities, schools, festivals, arts centers and libraries. His school assembly programs have been popular at New England area elementary schools for many years. In addition to New England area venues, BJ Hickman performs throughout the United States at places including the prestigious Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, and at Caroline's on Broadway in New York City.

He is an Order of Merlin (25 year) member of The International Brotherhood of Magicians and a member of the Academy of Magical Arts. He is credited with having done 5,000 live performances for nearly 500,000 people. Following the success of three instructional videotapes for magicians produced by Hickman, he took to the road nationwide to lecture to groups of magicians at various conferences and conventions.

He speaks to his colleagues about the business of doing magic shows for children. Engagements have included The International Festival of Children's Magicians, the Florida State Magicians' Convention, The Hoosier Magicians' convention, various affiliate groups of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and The Society of American Magicians, KIDabra Conference in Tennessee and twice at The Magic Castle in Hollywood, California.
